Something a Bit More Sinister.

In my last post I said I liked to draw more sinister things like skulls. This drawing is a piece I'm working on at the moment. It is a terrible photo! However, when I have inked it in I will post a better photo of it.

Bonjour!

Well this is my first post, mainly because the drawing below is the first I have done in ages! It is the design on some Valentines cards I have made. I'm not usually one for cutesy designs though, I much prefer to draw some skulls and words, but until I have a few more recent drawings, I'll leave you with this ...

Royal Navy

I drew this picture last night - pencil work on A3... full body pic, but not sure about the tattoo... I might add more to it, however, going to leave it for now and maybe come back to it later!

Sailor Jerry

This is no: 12 in my 50 page project... I drew this in the early hours of this morning... took me under 2hours to draw, so, chuffed as!... the image is inspired from the previous ones, sticking to sailors... when coloured there will be more emphasis on her eye, as I am wanting to make her look like a bar brawler... I may even put a drink/ bottle and or glass next to her... Sailor Jerry

WILD

This is how its looking at the moment, I'm not sure I'm happy with it, the counter of the D looks wrong. I'll keep working on it! I haven't planned this drawing at all, probably would have been easier and quicker! The rock-thingy on the right is just a copy of the one on the left to see what it would look like.

Hello Sailor

Here is an image I created today... it is pencil on A3... this is the 10th image I have drawn this month in my A3 sketch book, the plan is to fill the book. The book has 50 pages and I have giving myself a task to draw 50 pictures... I have named the project '50 pages'... this can be followed on my facebook page.

Here is an image I created this weekend... it is pencil on A3... I am working on a small range of images, linking them to the seaside... yes tattooed women... thinking off dropping backgrounds into the images, linking them to landmarks to the coast of the North East.

I drew this image in under 4hours... not bad... it is the fourth image I have done this year... busy! busy! busy!... I hope you all like.

I love choppers

Here is my third image this year... woo! hoo! and it's only the 5th Jan... I am pleased with this piece... again, excuse the photo, but I am on the case for a new A3 scanner... anyway, I hope you all like and no-doubt I shall re-post once I have inked it!

Come out to play

Recently I watched the Warriors again for the hundredth time... what a classic... inspired me to draw this image... I will add that I have since taken off the shading in the face paint... I wasn't happy... if and when I get around to inking this image I will have in black on white with the only colour being the red area on the face paint.

Stop Looking

My first piece of artwork for 2011... started this today and kept going until it was finished... that is the sketch... excuse the poor photo... but no-doubt it will be re-posted when I do more to it (what I do not know at this point).
